The above works exhibited were exhibited in the group show 'Diaspora Pavilion' at the Palazzo Pisani Santa Marina, Venice, 13 May – 27 November 2017. 'Toussaint L'Ouverture at Bedourete' and 'Bacchus and Ariadne' were first exhibited in the solo exhibition 'Caribbean Passion: Haiti 1804' at the Bettie Morton Gallery, London (4 November–28 November, 2004). 'Portrait of the Artist Helping With Enquiries: 1984' was first exhibited in the solo exhibition 'Fall/Uprising' at the Bettie Morton Gallery, London, (4 November–3 December, 2005). 'For Moses Had Married An Ethiopian Woman (Numbers 12:1)' was first exhibited in the solo exhibition 'Some Clarity of Vision' at Gallery Momo, Johannesburg, South Africa (8 September–12 October, 2015). The Diaspora Pavilion exhibition was accompanied by a 54-page printed booklet, also available as an online pdf.
