Description: | A temporary sound installation comprising 100 bicycle bells situated at critical experiential points along the Greenway, Capital Ring towpath and Stratford High St from 25th June – 3rd August 2011 commissioned by View Tube Art and Invisible Dust, as part of the Bicycle Wheel programme for the CREATE 11 Festival, funded by the Arts Council England alongside other commissioned artists: Köbberling & Kaltwasser, Gavin Turk / Ben Wilson and Bicycle Thieves. The installation also installed at Bow Church as a part of their 700th Anniversary Celebrations in September. The postman’s bicycle was gifted to View Tube Bikes in 2019. |
