Description: | A field study of 47 craftspeople in Azerbaijan, from the regions (outside of Baku). The purpose of the study is to assess interest in and extent of informal craft learning by young people. The impact of the covid-19 pandemic on craft practice is also recorded, and a general picture of what craft is being made, how it is being made, and how it can be described is also build through the study. Areas of interest include: Craft and business practices, teaching and learning, the economic situation, attitudes to craft and environmental sustainability, and crafts peoples' perceptions of their sector. |
