| Description: | Alongside the curatorial field work during her residency at LabVerde in the Amazon rainforest, following a conversation with Astrida Neimanis, Jennifer Mae Hamilton & Tessa Zettel of The Weathering Collective, Camilla led the workshop A Field Guide for Weathering in the Amazon. Embodied Tactics for Collectives of Two or More Humans. Originally conceived by The Weathering Collective as a way of thinking and engaging the weather through our bodies, and to inspire deeper consideration of climate change as a ‘more-than-meteorological’ phenomenon, Camilla adapted this set of practices to the context of the Amazon rainforest. The workshop inspired the participants’ connection to weathering and it provided thoughtful directions for the development of an exhibition project. |
