Neuhaus: Temporary Academy for More-Than-Human Knowledge

This was an exhibition project at the Nieuwe Instituut in Rotterdam - Neuhaus occupies and transforms existing spaces and facilities, supplements them with its own new facilities and opens them up to active users and participants in the Neuhaus curriculum. They work together - as true 'Neuhäusler' - to generate and jointly manage, disseminate, share and practice more-than-human knowledge.

I exhibited an installation from my Pazugoo art research project. This included 3d-printed artefacts; a two-monitor video work 'An Excess of Wings (You are binders to my my granular polymers)', and a participatory design element. I also took part in the panel 'Designs for Deep Time' with artists, designers, theorists and representatives from the Dutch nuclear waste storage industry.
