| Description: | Celebrating photography for all PhotoMonth celebrates Photography in major Public Spaces, from Tate Modern, Whitechapel Art Gallery, Autograph, to established independent galleries including Four Corners, private spaces and local libraries, bookshops and unconventional buildings. Photograher Tom Hunter programmed a series of films for Photomonth. Wayfaring Stranger (Zimmerman, 2024) was shown on the 18th October 2025 at the Hackney Picture House. The post screening conversation focused on process of my way of working, and the ethics of my practice. Tom Hunter said the best word to describe my practice, accross all my films, was 'Intuitive Cinema'. This led to a deeply engaged conversation also with participants in the work and the audience. I spoke about intuiting as a means to safety, a living ethics. Collaboration as a way of sharing space, and life journey. |
