This keynote invites the audience to consider what happens when connections between people and land are severed. Its purpose is the reframe political and ethical debates around the climate emergency, foregrounding links between global warming, migration, refugees and modern slavery, as well as militarism, the security state,fossil fuel extraction and toxic industry.
