Visible Justice

A collaborative exhibition and events programme bringing together artists, activists, journalists, civil liberties groups, human rights lawyers and media students will launch at London College of Communication in April – exploring social justice in national and international contexts.

I convened the collaborations for this exhibition, uniting ngos, artists and every MA student from within the media school - photography, journalism and media communications. I ran and oversaw the entire project January-March 2019. The journalism programme magazine Artefact published a Visible Justice edition dedicated to the exhibition. I curated the resulting exhibition, alongside research hub Visible Justice co-founder David Birkin, and we convened a symposium, Embodied Activism to speak to its social and political concerns. I convened a roundtable event at LCC, Young Blood: Knife Crime and Restorative Justice, inviting youth workers, ex-offenders, mothers, Met Police, lawyers and judges to the stage to join the highly-charged, impactful conversation.
