Description:	This keynote discusses work produced across the Living Systems Lab and Maison/0 over the past fifteen years to situate how the practice of biodesign can stimulate new ways of knowing and inform designing in the context of planetary boundaries. Diverse approaches to designing with and for living systems are discussed, ranging from curiosity-driven to applied research, and from species-specific to ecosystem focused outputs.
