Description:	This photo essay looks at Isla Grande, the largest coralline island of Nuestra Señora del Rosario Archipelago, which is part of the Parque Nacional Natural Corales del Rosario y de San Bernardo in the Colombian Caribbean. The essay considers both the environmental beauty and violence that underpin Black lives on the island, and the ways in which they have resisted and constituted themselves as a civil community to go forward into the future.
