| Description: | In this special issue we bring together a collection of writings that variously discuss and exemplify alternative ways to ‘articulate dance’. This theme builds upon the long-standing interest of the editors, through their work in the ‘Choreographic Lab’, to find ways to ‘get at’ dance and dancing in ways that allow us to move beyond the analysis of dance as object and to promote instead felt, experiential and choreographic tools for the thinking about, sharing, teaching and documenting of movement practices.
