| Description: | This Polaroid forms part of a series made during visits to key sites in Pompei and Rome between September and December 2025. The image depicts Ancient Roman amphoras used for transporting oil, olives, food and wine. Titled after the site in which this amphoras were found, House of The Tragic Poet, Pompeii, is one of three Polaroids exhibited from a total series of 100 Polaroids which extend the space in which paintings and other artworks were exhibited. Through a folding and looping of time in low resolution black and white polaroid photographs where imagery and textures suggest ideas of memory and travel. |
