Artists Letters

Artists Letters (2025) is a four-person exhibition by Juan Bolivar, Karen David, Hiroe Komai, and Hana Sakuma at KOBE STUDIO Y3 an art project operated by C.A.P in Kobe City Centre for Overseas Migration and Cultural Exchange, in Kobe, Japan. The title of this exhibition, "Artists Letters," refers to the artists' historical engaged in the form of letters before the Internet age. In this exhibition, each of the four artists exhibit art works - described as artist letters, or experimental attempts to offer a glimpse into their lives and creative processes. In addition, the exhibition presented ephemera of the process leading up to the realisation of the exhibition, and was accompanied by a on line artist talk discussion with audiences in Japan.
