Description: | The history of painting is just a history of human’s exploring the methods of watching and recording. Photography, invented in 19th century and video's development in 20th century are two important breakthroughs in this area. For a long time, the artistic approaches of painting, photography and video have been fussing and interacting with each another. This interaction and struggle to understand them has formed a significant cultural phenomenon. 'Manifestation of images' — the exhibition of painting, picture and video attempts to seek the cultural motivation behind these three factors and new the possibility of their development in the future. |
