Description: | Acconci acts in many ways as a precursor to Karl Holmqvist's investigations into traded meanings and the deployment of text in both printed and performed formats. Looking critically at Holmqvist's work, we might return to the question posed by Acconci of how we are meant to understand text on and off the page, in performance, and what these changes in register do to the 'I' who is speaking, writing or borrowing. |
