This event was requested by the Department of Justice and Attorney General (DJAG), for their staff and selected NSW Police Officers.

The Department of Justice and Attorney General leads the development of evidence-based policies and programs to prevent crime and reduce re-offending in NSW. They work in partnership with communities, government agencies, businesses and other service providers to implement targeted programs, with an emphasis on the criminal justice system.

The Crime Prevention team consists of about 10 people with various roes. Project management, crime research, data analysis, and specialist staff such as in the CPTED tea. Largely their work is with Local Government, and Government agencies with influence over crime factors.
