Creators: | Evans, Sian |
Description: | Exhibition of photographic works. An exploration of ownership and values. Images cropped from iconic films featured as part of television programs are taken in real time with an early rather poor mobile phone camera. The technology reduces the quality of the television image already reduced significantly by the medium from the high quality of film. The images produced from a small format camera are then blown up and reveal a beautiful simplicity and colour palate. In many of the photos the image only reveals itself as the viewer moves away. |
