Description: | Costume designs for a piece by the Jasmin Vardimon Dance Company. The notion of costume design within the context of an environment (set) made up of hundreds of items of second hand clothing was explored. This demanded a new and different challenge in the relationship between body/costume/movement/environment. This was also within the context of exploring the difference between abstract contemporary dance costuming and dance theatre and the different relationship with the choreographer/artistic Director (Jasmin Vardimon). |
