Woven jacquard textile piece. This was one of three pieces (Self Assembly #1, #2 and #3) and an accompanying digital file (illustrating the process of the project/pieces) purchased by the Crafts Council for their permanent collection.

The Nobel Project was funded by the Medical Research Council, clincal Sciences Unit . It involved 5 textile/fashion designers who were paired up with Science Nobel Laureates, the brief being to understand the science and produce a body of work that would communicate the scientists achievements through textiles to the general public.
