Precious Things

The exhibition offered an overview of the variety of approaches explored within contemporary British painting, placing these approaches in a European context of
recent art history, popular culture, and in relation to a newly expanded painting canon of content and materials.

The exhibition was curated by Graham Crowley, artist and ex-professor of Painting at the Royal College of Art, who selected nineteen artists working in London, Sheffield and Cardiff: Kiera Bennett, Simon Bill, Varda Caivano, Michael Crowther, Will Daniels, Adam Dant, Jeffrey Dennis, Geraint Evans, Paul Housley, Ansel Krut, Marta Marcé, Hannah Maybank, Zoë Mendelson, Mali Morris, Sara MacKillop, Julian Perry, John Strutton, Joshua Thomson, Will Turner
