Description: | The Chicken Project is a critical / speculative design project that questions our dependancy on mass manufacturing and how as a society we are increasingly unaware of the providence of everyday objects and industrial processes. By designing complex miniature factories and kilns at home, I took the raw materials from a Chicken Carcass, local trees and aluminium cans from my street to produce fine chicken bone china ceramic pieces, aluminium cutlery, poultry leather and a London Plane display cabinet for the objects. |
