A camera slowly moves up and around the heights of the Napoleon and Mayflower hotels located off Hamra Street. The slow video meditation on the concrete architecture, heating vents and water tanks render the familiar urban landscape eerily foreign; patio chairs look hardly more accommodating than the tangles of wires and pipes that descend the walls. The film culminates in a woman swimming laps in a pool only a few meters long, the movement of her body contorted to the cityscape.
