Description: | Science meets fashion at Meadowhall Shopping Centre with an exhibition exploring the future of the humble plastic bag on display: the result of ‘Objects of Truth’ – a collaborative project between the University of Sheffield, the London College of Fashion and the Bill Amberg Design Studio. The exhibition, born from the premise of exploring sustainability in everyday lives, a theme that was examined during the Meadowhall October Fashion Month 2012, focused on the use and consumption of plastic bags, encouraging shoppers to ‘re-think’ and ‘re-use’. |
