Description: | Letterpress on paper. These images are printed in a Gill Sans wooden typeface and the text is a catchphrase used by Sir Jimmy Savile. The work makes reference to the fact that Eric Gill was a well known pedophile whose typeface is used in the BBC logo and his questionable sculptures adorn Broadcasting House. These works were displayed at the exhibition Once More, into the Breach, Dear Friends, Once More at Lokaal 01, Breda, The Netherlands. A performance was delivered at an event on 6th June. |
