| Description: | A clip from R.W.Fassbinder’s film Martha (1974) has been reworked and sequenced to be screened in a rotation of six cycles. Layers of colour, geometric shapes, text and video have been added in postproduction. The superimposed material conceals the identity of the film’s protagonists and puts forward comments, distractions and validations on the work’s form and content. The loops are shown on opposite facing monitors in an alternating pattern causing the viewer unwittingly to re-enact the choreography of the scene. |
