The CSM room displayed scenarios of four London Museums in 2040, the V&A, the Freud Museum, Kew Gardens and the Wallace Collection. The scenarios were developed as part of a MA Narrative Environments project with Arup Foresight and Innovation. Four provocative fictional futures were created to underline the methodological importance of considering multiple futures in the field of forecasting. The exhibition was curated to show 12 steps in the research, concept development and design of the future scenarios and the techniques for weaving the themes into an animated story in order to communicate complex ideas in a digestible and engaging format. The steps were displayed graphically on the walls while the final animations were shown in the centre of the space. |
