Description: | On May 12, on the anniversary of the Bangladesh Accord, the Institution of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH) joined with industry leaders, including founders of the Fashion Revolution campaign, and politicians in the UK to hold a roundtable debate and parliamentary reception at the Palace of Westminster. The debate panel was formed of 20 participants, including Dilys Williams from CSF, and leaders from organisations including the Fairtrade Foundation, Bianca Jagger Human Rights Foundation, Ethical Trading Initiative, Bangladesh Accord Foundation, DfiD, as well as MPs. The Ethics and Sustainability in Fashion event drew around 70 people for an event seen as vital in maintaining momentum in the drive for improvements in supply chain health and safety, in developing countries in particular. |
