Description: | Disaster Playground is a filmic and experiential investigation of emergency procedures for disasters such as earth-bound rogue asteroids and meteor showers. The piece follows scientists leading the monitoring and deflection of hazardous Near Earth Objects and the real-life procedures in place in the event of an asteroid collision with the earth. From NASA headquarters to the United Nations this project unravels the process and craft involved in the making of emergency procedures to avoid speculative disasters. |
