Slow Grow

Slow Grow creates a design model for the wearer to be at the centre of the design process to create a textile and garment unique to them reflecting their character and environment. Slow Grow follows the journey of grower to wearer (Mary). Mary is passionate about Fulham allotment, growing her flowers and produce is important to her wellbeing and happiness. Mary’s creativity is translated into a SweetPea design, which, is printed and made into a shirt. Mary is central to the design process and aims to create a slow fashion piece to create a long life garment that is unique to the wearer.
