Description: | A photographic project juxtaposing images taken in public places into new inter-changing narratives. The project developed out of a current collaboration between the artist Sigune Hamann and the neuroscientist Prof. Kia Nobre, Head of Experimental Psychology University of Oxford, who shares a curiosity about how our memories and expectations shape what we see. The images are cut in half and re-combined to open up new possibilities of form, meaning and social constructions. The first series of images was taken at Frieze Art Fair 2015. |
