| Description: | Will Corwin interviewed Jo Melvin for this publication documenting &MODEL gallery. Chris Bloor, James Chinneck and Derek Horton founded &MODEL gallery in Leeds. It ran an ambitious and international exhibition programme in the city between 2013 and 2017. This publication documents those five years, including interviews with former exhibitors J G Ballard’s daughter & fine artist Fay Ballard and Jo Melvin curator of the exhibition Barry Flanagan Light pieces and other works. The book includes installation photographs from the exhibtions and a new fiction piece inspired by the project by artist, curator, writer and regular contributor to The Brooklyn Rail Will Corwin, illustrated by Chris Bloor a frequent collaborator with LA-based artist Nathaniel Mellors. |
