Description: | An exhibition & related symposium showcasing student work that interrogates and weaves the future of design education in the environmental crisis. During the private view of the exhibition a performance took place designed and led by the Common Agency Projects. Curated by Lecturers Eva Sajovic and Sakis Kyratzis, with the support of the LT Fund at CCW, UAL. Hackin’ The Knit was a series of workshops aimed to be a space for experimentation and discussion in the intersection of technology and textiles, craft and design, knitting and coding, analogue and digital. By bringing together students from Graphic Design departments of Central Saint Martins and Camberwell College of Arts, Creative Computing Institute students and Textile students across UAL colleges, the group aims at creating an interdisciplinary working group where all the ideas can be tested through and inspired by making. Set up by Senior lecturer Eva Sajovic and Associate Lecturer Irene Albino. |
