Description: | Kim Heecheon’s work explores the intersection of digital technologies (such as the internet, video games, and virtual reality). He frequently use fragmented narratives and digital manipulation to reflect on perceptions of reality and human relationships are now almost mediated technologically. This talk looks at 'Double Poser' which continues Kim’s experiments with video game simulations and virtual environments, but it also introduces new aesthetic elements, such as the integration of real-world footage (the Hayward Gallery) with virtual simulations. This creates a more immersive and dynamic experience for the viewer, as the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds become even more fluid. |
