Embedding Evaluation for Educational Excellence: Building staff-student partnerships to develop pedagogical practice

Teaching staff can feel distanced from formal institutional-level evaluation yet evaluation can be an impactful and meaningful process for both staff and students.

This presentation showcases a blog resource I have developed for the Media School at LCC, UAL, based on my academic research. It provides a framework for staff to undertake their own evaluations, using robust, qualitative methods embedded into their day-to-day practice, working in partnership with students.

With a variety of inclusive, creative tools to choose from, staff can undertake evaluation of their interventions and innovative practices, pinpointing what works, capturing and sharing best practice, outlining impact and celebrating their work.
