From Local Voices to Global Pages

Co-creation project funded by global seed funding partnering with a Mexican publishing consultant - the project was led by Frania Hall, supported by Hilly Janes - the project sponsor was Evi Kontova who supported the research and development. 2 MA publishing students and 3 DPS students from journalism, contemporary media cultures and advertising participated. The project was focused on researching audience needs for an online platform for professionals presenting Mexican authors and independent publishers to the wider english speaking market, particularly the UK. The students designed the presentation and we all presented sections of it at Readmagine conference in Madrid - a leading international professional conference on reading technologies and publishing innovation
