Reporting on my doctoral research, I explore and problematise the journey from fine art student to fine art lecturer by focusing on tacit practice, group marking and communities of practice. Employing the concepts of connoisseurship and inter-subjectivity I seek to unpack and analyse the assessment approaches adopted by experienced fine art lecturers. |
