Description:	Introductory talk by Zoë Mendelson to a screening of 'Grey Gardens' (US 1976, Directed by David Maysles and Albert Maysles, 100 min) at the Barbican Centre, London. To accompany the Barbican Art Gallery’s exhibition 'Magnificent Obsessions: The Artist as Collector', the Barbican screened a series of films exploring the traditions and idiosyncrasies manifested in the drive to collect.
