Description: | This article is based upon an interdisciplinary pedagogic research project – ‘Broad Vision: The Art & Science of Looking’ – which explored the perception and interpretation of microscopic worlds, whilst simultaneously investigating the potential benefits and challenges of working across disciplinary divides within a university. The authors reflect upon the different roles undertaken by students and lecturers (as researchers, facilitators and producers) and consider the innovative, democratic process of curriculum development that evolved during the project. |
