Description:

This chapter considers creative conversations as a learning and teaching method. The chapter is based on the findings of a research project which focused on a photography degree in Higher Education in the UK. It uses critical reviews of practical coursework as an example of an educational setting in which creative conversations take place. The aims of this chapter are to highlight the benefits of creative conversations to students’ learning and to point towards particular learning environments which best facilitate such conversations. The chapter concludes by summarising ways in which creative conversations can be managed for effective learning.
