Description:	This essay situates Seth Siegelaub's 1968 Xerox Book, which was the first group exhibition presented as a book. Siegelaub commissioned seven artists, allocating each one 25 pages, to make work specifically to be reproduced in this format. The publication was devised to accompany the exhibition entitled 'The Xerox Book' held at Paula Cooper Gallery, New York, September 12 - December 17, 2015.
