Description: | This exhibition held at the Henry Moore Institute Leeds is the first solo exhibition of Christine Kozlov (1945-2005). Kozlov's practice was central in the emergence of Conceptual Art from the mid 1960s to the early 1970s. Kozolov's work was of major importance to her contemporaries in devising new critical attitudes to art practice and the production of meaning. She was involved with Art & Language and when a student with Joseph Kosuth founded the Lannis Gallery, The Museum of Normal Art, NYC. Her work includes film, photography, text based art, sculpture and painting. |
