| Description: | UAL Showcase Collections How can creativity serve as a force for equity, inclusion, and social justice? At LCC, the Changemakers initiative is redefining the academic landscape by embedding student-led disruption into curriculum development. This digital showcase explores how Changemakers work in partnership with course teams to address attainment gaps, co-create inclusive pedagogies, and drive social justice through artistic activism. The projects featured in this collection reflect a radical approach to learning—where students and academics collaborate as equal partners. From storytelling as a tool for decolonisation to scholar-activist communities challenging systemic inequalities, these projects don’t just imagine a fairer world; they actively build it. The showcase brings together co-created case studies, visual storytelling, and lived experiences that interrogate race, power, and representation within higher education and the creative industries. Through Kevin’s practice research and framework ‘Disrupting the Discourse: the culture Decoded,’ this collection presents digital resources, provocations and critical reflections designed to support staff in decoding their own pedagogical practices. These works demonstrate how student engagement and curriculum transformation can go beyond institutional policy, becoming a lived practice of resistance and joy.
