| Description: | The volatile rise of technology convinces us that technology has its own sagacious quality that affects the business and operational performance of any industry, including the logistics and transportation sector. Despite many studies on the technology advancement across various industries, not many studies have discussed the technology advancement roles in elevating the image and corporate branding of a logistics and transportation organisation. The objective of this chapter is to shed light on the use of technology advancement in the logistics and transport sector and to highlight the extent to which the logistics and transport sector uses new technologies as a tool for corporate marketing communication in managing the business, as well as for corporate brand image establishment. Precisely, this study has two main objectives: to explore the perception of technology usage from the logistics and transport sector, and to classify the role of technology in boosting the image of company in logistics and transport. The extant literature and practical examples were also used in this discussion to highlight the role of technology in corporate brand establishment and to generate recommendations for future research. |
